Last year: I was sitting on the pavement along the open field, staring straight ahead, lost in my own little world. The sky was totally blue and cloudless, a sight seldom seen. A jogger ran by and smiled at me. I smiled back. Even though we didn't say a word, a lot was said through this exchange of smiles.
I know what you are thinking, I'm thinking it too.
Today as I was going to cross the road, green man flashing, a red taxi drove into my path and stopped. I strolled past it, walking excruciatingly slowly.
I wonder whether Impressionists, especially the first Impressionist (Monet), were short sighted. When I take off my spectacles, it seems that the world turns into an Impressionist painting; undefined smudges of colours all around.
I realised how factory-like science fac's architecture is. Full of pipes, chimney like structures. It seems to be a representative of what Singapore (and NUS) truly is; churning out brainwashed, uniform, similar things. NUS is doing Singapore proud indeed.

Yesterday
me: Hey, I'm at the police station.
m: WHAT??!! What are you doing there?!
me: Ha ha. It's not what you think. Do I sound like I'm in trouble?
m: Then why are you there?!
me: Oh I lost my wallet, do I need to make a police report?
m: What?! You lost your wallet?
Later
m: You always don't wash your feet and bathe immediately after you come home. And you always lie and sleep on the floor. So dirty! Imagine all the dirt you bring home, all the bad aura.
Later
m: b said you should carry the four leaf clover.
